He was there from July 11 1941 to August 8 1941.

Walter Neil Dove then moved to No. 14 S.F.T.S. Alymer, Ontario where these pictures were taken.

  1. Just yesterday I walked and photographed what remains of No 14 SFTS Aylmer. The man I am researching was an instructor there at the same time Mr. Dove took some of these photographs. Like many instructors this one was keen to be posted overseas. He got his wish but was killed in action on his first operational flight with 418 Squadron and he is buried in Holland. My thanks to you (and to Mr. Dove’s grandson) for posting these photographs. They are rare and they are a real treasure for family historians.
