This is also taken at Petit Brogel. It was sent by Dean Black last month. Flight Lieutenant Forsyth is not in there, but I know he will recognize some of his comrades.

The caption

Greg’s grandfather wrote captions for all the pictures he took.

These were taken in Eindhoven, in Holland, when the 403 was stationed there. Click on each for a larger view.

With the logbook we can date these pictures.

April 1945.

Now about Ron Forsyth’s grandson…

He wrote two more comments.

Wow, thanks.

Those are great pictures. I made some prints from the other ones, but I’ll print these out too. I’ll put together the few pictures he has and send them in. We also have access to the log book. If you are interested, we can scan that too for you to look at? He has the medals from the various campaigns he was on. I can get him to identify what each was for and give you a picture.

One thing he never had was a picture of him and his airplane. It was KH-S and KH-N I believe. Have you seen those letter in any of the pictures?

Of course we are. This is what’s this blog is all about in the first place…

Sharing so we can pay homage to these men by identifying them in the picture.

Sorry no pictures unless Greg has some more.
